Open House

Last night was Open House at the school. We are so happy with the kids' new school! We really like all of their teachers. They have adjusted well and are doing great with their studies. It's definitely been a good experience so far. Switching the kids from their small Christian school, which we were very happy with, to a public school was a difficult decision for us to make. God opened the doors for us to be at this school. As much as I love these kids, God loves them even more. I have to trust Him to watch over and take care of them. Praising God this morning for His unending love for us.

Gracie has been going on for a few days about a "surprise" that she was working on for us at school. She was so good about not telling the surprise even when Daddy tried to get it out of her. ;) Here is the surprise. She was SOOOO proud to give us this! :) I'll have to say though that this is not Gracie's best cutting. She is usually so meticulous with her cutting. Must have been something more interesting going on at the time ;)

To say a big "thank you" for coming to school

Kindergarten is such a blast,

And my teaher says I'm learning fast.

You may worry about me, and I miss you too!

But I'm making new friends and this is true;

At school during recess and on the bus,

Angles are watching over us.

This is Gracie with her teacher. Isaac has taken a liking to Gracie's teacher as well and had to be included in the picture. Btw, we did notice later in the night that Isaac had messed up a bit on his buttons on his shirt. Apparently we didn't notice until after we were in the kindergarten room. lol! ;)

And, here is Gracie demonstrating what the "helper of the day" gets to do. She can't wait until her turn, which is next Wednesday. :)
