PLEASE PRAY FOR SWEET MAYA!!
Maya is a beautiful three year old girl. She was adopted from Hong Kong about the same time as we adopted Gracie from China. She was rushed to the ER this morning with some very concerning symptoms. They found a blood clot on her brain stem that is life threatening if not removed immediately. Please storm the heavens for Maya and her family.........and the surgeons performing this very delicate procedure!

UPDATE: Maya made it through her surgery. Paise God!! Most of the clot was dissolved and the surgeon feels that the remainder of the clot will dissolve with meds. With the blood thinners that she is on to dissolve the clot there is a risk of bleeding on the brain, which would be devastating! The next several hours are critical. Numerous tests are being run to find out WHY this happened. Please continue to PRAY for sweet Maya!! Thanks!
