Garden Time

We finally planted our garden today! Yep, it's a tad late.......but, I really wanted to plant one because I think it will be so much fun for the kids. Jacob is especially excited about it. We haven't planted one for several years now. Just didn't seem to have the energy or the time when the kids were really little.....ie diapers, bottles, etc. Now that they are all a bit bigger I'm excited to be back in the gardening business! :) We didn't plant much....just enough to have some fun with it. We planted carrots, beans, cucumbers and tomatoes. The kids had a ball with it and were excited to show Daddy when he got home from work tonight. It feels so good to be out there digging in the dirt.........the kids thoroughly enjoyed that part too! Whenever I work in a garden I ALWAYS think of my Mama Nicks! :)
