Memorial Day

So, once again I am behind on my blogging. Ugh! Seems to be a normal state for me lately. Between our busy schedule, my bad satellite internet connection and our OLD computer it's been rough trying to keep this up to date. It's frustrating to the MAX!  I'm not giving up because I really want to keep this going as a journal for my family. A place where we can go back years from now and reminisce. So, I will attempt to get caught up here over the next week or so.......if this machine and the internet will cooperate with me!!

As usual we spent Memorial Day in Pittsford at Grandma and Grandpa's Dick's house. Pittsford has the biggest Memorial Day parade around and it's always followed up with a cook out. It was a beautiful day!! This year we invited some old friends from Tom's childhood. One of Tom's best friends from elementary school, David Thomason...his parents Ronnie and Vera joined us. Tom enjoyed visiting with them so very much!! :) We visited and ate and played cards on tables in the yard while the kids rode bikes and played croquet. We stayed until we absolutely had to go home because we had work and school the next day. :( We didn't want it to end! We stopped and visited Fred, Cathy and Bobby's graves on the way home. (Tom's brother and sister and my brother). It was SUCH a nice and relaxing day!!!!
