I don't know how he does it, but he DOES!! He's the best creature seeker in these here parts! :) Here he is with his find this morning. Found in the dark, in the rain in the few steps it takes to get from our front door to the van. I appreciate his enthusiasm, his energy, his joy, his eagerness, his ZEST FOR LIFE!!
Jacob is contagious. His enthusiasm rubs off on those around him! This morning Gracie started hollering "Mama, Mama, It's a horny toad!! It's a horny toad!" :) Let me tell ya, only her brother could get Gracie excited about a horny toad! lol! Miss Ruth from church, who is in her 80's now, has commented to me that when we arrive at church you can feel the energy arrive. She appreciates that. I appreciate that. I've learned to appreciate Jacob's energy! You can FEEL energy. I MISS it greatly when he is not here!
Jacob's eagerness is really starting to help me out now too. This morning I made french toast for breakfast and my boy was SO much help to me! He cracked the eggs, buttered the toast as I finished, cut up Isaac's toast, etc. etc.
Love you sweetheart!!! May you never lose your ZEST FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our boys are grown, Wendy and I miss them so much at that age. Actually, I miss all of their younger ages. I really helps to see your sweet boys (and girls) :) and relive those times.
TREASURE THEM as I know you do!:)
I just love Jacob and his enthusiasm for life! I have say though I could live without the critters though....we are pretty much girly girls over here!!

Our J's are more alike than you realize!
This week he's caught one horny toad, one tree frog and one wood frog...ALL in rain, after school on our nature walk
