Blah!! Look what's happened in just a few days time in JANUARY in Michigan! The first three days of Jan. we received a total of 18 inches of snow. As of yesterday zilcho,nada, nothing.......not as much as a sciff of snow anywhere to be seen! Literally went from building a snowman on one day to raking the yard in a sweatshirt the next. In addition to the 60 degree weather and the rapid snow melt, we are now getting heavy rain and are under a flood warning. We are waterlogged big time! Here is a picture of our ditch that runs along the road in the front of our house. In the 11 years that we have been here it is very rare for us to ever see water in this ditch!

We did get out for 1 hr and 10 min today! We had a 2 hr break...MAJOR standing water!!!!!!!!! but we made the most of it - think we'll all sleep a tad better tonight!
Crazy isn't it!!! Ellie and I are going stir-crazy! It has not stopped raining for even brief moments here... We are really looking forward to a trip to the local Children's museum on Friday morning!
Wow! That's amazing so much snow can melt so quickly. My parents live in northern Illinois, and they had the same thing happen!
