I LOVE:
*His total exuberance!
*The ZEST with which he lives his life!
*This evening when Tom was leaving the house with all of the kids, the van brake lights came on, the van door flew open (hopefully it didn't damage the slider...lol!) and Jacob flew in the front door because he forgot to give me a kiss.
*Last week Isaac, Gracie and I were playing on the school playground while we waited for playgroup to start. The school bell rang and kids started pouring onto the playground. Jacob was leading the entire group with football in hand. When he saw me, his eyes lit up and he shouted "MOM".......he ran to me and gave me a big hug. This is really something for a 4th grade boy.....exuberance I'm tellin' ya! :)
*His enthusiasm as he tells me all about being lunch recess monitor this week.
*His excitement when he is able to get up with Tom on Sunday nights at church to help serve communion. I think last week he was literally jumping up and down. ;)
*Watching him zip by outside on his bike over and over and over again....never tiring!
*How he just bounds off the school bus in the afternoon anticipating what the afternoon has to offer.
*His JOY
*How every now and then I go to wake him up in the morning and I turn on the light and say, "up and at em, boys" and he smiles really big peels off his covers and he already has his school clothes on.
*His eagerness to help me with the cooking
*Watching him enthusiastically build all kinds of projects in the shop with Dad.......oh how he just LOVES to do that!
*How he just truly enjoys pretty much everything he does! I met up with the school bus driver in the hall the other day. She said, "I really think Jacob is enjoying riding the bus" and I told her "Jacob pretty much loves everything he does" :).......LOVE that about my boy!!
*Watching him confidently get up and lead singing at our Sunday evening singings that we do once a month.
*The spring he has in his step
The list could go on and on. You get the picture though....the words I have used to describe Jacob are enthusiasm, excitement, eagerness, zest, joy, zip...his energy is refreshing.....and it's new every morning! ;) I know that God has a very special plan for my EXUBERANT boy! I sure do feel so blessed to be his Mom!!
