Turtle Fun!

Isaac and I dropped Gracie off at speech this morning. On the way home I spotted a turtle crossing the road. I made a quick turn around and went back and picked up the little guy. Isaac was THRILLED with our find. :) We stuck him in the trash can in the van and brought him home. Isaac had tons of fun with him for the half hour that Gracie was in speech. He was very anxious to go pick Gracie up so that she could see our little fella. We picked up Gracie from speech and headed straight to the lake to let our new friend go back home and be happy! :)

We looked it up and he is a painted turtle....very pretty!

Isaac loved handling him! Gracie liked him from a distance. ;)

She finally got brave enough to give him a little pat! :)
