Lonely Cows

Do cows get lonely? I've never thought about this question before, but I've concluded recently that they most definitely do. As I said previously our neighbor recently passed away. It's been so sad for us to see things so quiet over there. :( What used to be an active dairy farm is now lifeless.....well, except for two lonely cows. All but two of the cows have been taken away to new homes. How do I know that these two cows are lonely? Because whenever Jacob goes outside the cows come running. Last night I watched one cow come running from way across the pasture when Jacob came outside. And when it's time for Jacob to come inside they just waller. They've never acted like this before. Someone comes to feed them every couple of days. I really think they miss human interation. They miss Guy. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with Guy's family.
