This is our 1993 Ford Festiva that we purchased this summer when gas was over $3/gallon. It gets about 40 mpg, which really helps with our fuel expense since we live in a rural area and drive a good distance for everything! Tom drives "Putt Putt" back and forth to work. So, why am I bringing this up now? Well, Tom received a bit of friendly teasing when we first purchased our little blue bomb. :) Tom's a pretty big guy and a Ford Festiva is not a car made for tall men. I have to tell you though that today a man knocked on our door to inquire about our Putt Putt, who was just innocently sitting in our driveway. This man stopped to see if we would be interested in selling her. Um, Nope! And, this is the 2nd stranger to stop at our door asking if we would be interesting in selling. Who knew we would be the envy of the town!! LOL!
