The day after Tom left Jacob informed me that since Dad is away he is now the "man of the house". :)...lol! That gave me a good chuckle! Yesterday he proved that he is prepared to step up and fill in where he is able. Yesterday was a beautiful day!! We took advantage of it by working in the yard. Jacob was able to get the tractor out of the garage and all hooked up to the wagon on his own. After we were done hauling everything we had raked out of the yard, he then hooked the sweeper up to the tractor and gave it a good sweeping. He did it ALL. I never even touched the tractor. I'm so very proud of my boy!!! Tom's shoes are mighty big shoes to fill, but my boy is doing his part to make things easier around here while Dad is away. I'm so very proud ot him!! Actually all of the kids were a great help on Saturday. :) 
Our little mud bugs! They sure did enjoy the warm weather!

Doesn't surprise me one bit that Jacob has stepped right in to do what he knows his daddy would do. He has a wonderful example to follow. Go JACOB... Way-to-go TOM and Wendy....
