One week ago today Tom left to begin his new job in Maryland. He is actually living and working in West Virginia. It is just over the Maryland border. You look out the window into Maryland. He does all of his shopping, church etc. in Maryland. Grandma and Grandpa Dick traveled down this week with their camper. They offered to let Tom use the trailer. We are so thankful. He found a nice place to put it and I could hear the birds chirping in the background when I was talking to him today.
The folks at church are extremely friendly and helpful. There is even a couple there in the exact situation as we are. They are from Saline and he has been there working for 2 months while Mom and the 4 children remain at home for now. He is working at the same location as Tom. Isn't that something! In fact, they both felt like they had met before and finally discovered that they have in fact met before....at our youth rally we had at church this past Fall. He drove the youth from Saline over for the rally. Tom and I were doing the games that day. Small world! Really nice family Tom said.
He played basketball with a guy from work tonight. I'm glad he's making some friends and staying busy.
Of course, we miss him like crazy!! He will be home this weekend though! :) :)
It's spring break and it's snowing outside. Hmmmmmm? lol!
Love,
Wendy
