League Champs!

Heid's cross country season is winding down, but it is still far from over. Her last league meet was this past Tuesday. After that meet they announced the league champs. Drumroll please........

Centreville!!! Both boys and girls! Great job guys!! Apparently this is the first time this has happened in over 20 years....to have BOTH boys and girls win league. Pretty cool that Heidi got to be a part of it. :) Here is the whole gang after the meet on Tuesday. Pretty exciting!

Also, on Tuesday night they announced the "all league" team of the season. This is the top 10 runners in the league for this season. Heidi along with 5 of her teammates made "all league". Look at all this blue and gold!! 6 of the top 10 spots in the league is pretty impressive I think. Great job girls!!! Whooo Hooo!!

 The next big meet will be regionals on Oct. 30 to see if we can qualify as a team for the state meet. Good luck ladies.........and gentlemen!

We are so thankful that God answered our prayers with an answer to what was causing Heidi's leg pain. She has been able to enjoy this season to the fullest. Praise the Lord!
