WHY???

Ok, since I am using this blog as somewhat of a journal I must record this story for future reference. I don't think I'll forget it, but ya never know what my mind will do in the future.

We have one bathroom in our home. Yes, I know I don't have to tell you that life can get a bit interesting with one bathroom and six people. Anyway, there is a routine that goes on here every morning. I hit the bathroom first before I wake up the kids. Heidi gets in the bathroom next. Soon after Isaac sleepily arrives on the scene and knocks on the bathroom door.

Heidi: "just a minute" .....and then a few minutes later she says, "ok, you can come in now....DON'T flush the toilet"......we all know what that would do right?! Scald Heidi who is taking a shower!

Isaac goes in and does his business while Heidi is actually in the shower.

I'm usually in the kitchen making breakfast when this takes place, but I hear it. I never thought about it this morning, but the normal scenario did not take place. Why you ask?? Well, I didn't find out until we were sitting in the van at the bus stop this morning and Jacob was laughing hysterically telling James all about it.

Apparently little man Isaac decided to pee in a Walmart bag in his bedroom this morning instead of going in the toilet. :-O He then was smart enough to open up his bedroom window and chuck the evidence out the window. Ewwwwwwww!!!! I found it there upon my arrival home. Of course, Jacob was going on and on about how he could not believe that Isaac would do such a thing. And I had to remind him about the time he decided to do the same thing only in the toybox!!! Yikes!...(there... have that recorded now for future reference as well ;)

WHY?? I ask myself this question. I can only come up with the same answers I'm sure you will give me. Just BECAUSE......

Because:
..............he can
..............he's a boy
..............it's easier
..............he's six
..............so and so did it
..............he wondered what it would feel like to pee in a bag and throw it out his window
.............. with shoulder shrug.......I don't know?

Just BECAUSE!

For your info. I didn't laugh........well I didn't laugh out loud.....when I heard the story. I kept my composure and calmly explained why we need to use the toilet for that! I mean....that should be obvious shouldn't it? I guess I'll have to add that one to the rest of my normals. You know the phrases you wish you had an automatic button you could just push because you say it so much. Phrases like:

Chew with your mouth shut!
Pick up your dirty clothes!
Put your coat on!
Comb your hair!
Take you plate to the table!
Did you get your backpack?
Get in the car.
Wait for me!

These are all phrases that I use so often that I wish I could just punch that button so I wouldn't have to waste my breath again. LOL!! Do I really have to add

"pee in the toilet, not in a bag"

to my list?!!!! .....rotflmbo!!!!!!!

I wonder what the kindergarten teacher thought when she heard that one this morning?.....cause I'm sure she did! Oh my!
