"I wish they'd pay you to work in Maryland!"
This is what Gracie said to Tom when he was home this past weekend. We are EXTREMELY happy and blessed that Tom has a job right now! But, we continue to pray on a daily basis that Tom will be able to get a job here, so that he can come back home and be with us!!! Our lives have changed since Tom lost his job here 7 months ago. It's costly financially to have Tom there and us here. The kids have obviously noticed a change. I'm not saying it's a bad thing necessarily, just different. Believe me, they have plenty. We do have to say "no" to them more often than we used to.....again, not necessarily bad, just different.
So, apparently for these two reasons 1) because we continue to pray for Tom to get a job here and 2)financially our lives are different.........Gracie just assumed that Daddy is not getting paid for the work he is doing in Maryland. He is living away from us. Traveling back and forth for hours and working everyday for NO PAY!!!!! LOL!!!
So innocent and sweet.
