Mini Vacation

Tom took a couple of days off and we took a little mini vacation over the weekend. We stayed in a cabin on White Lake, which is very near Lake Michigan. We had such a GREAT time!!! We spent Saturday at Michigan's Adventure, which is an amusement park.......water park and regular park with rides. It was a rainy day, but it turned out great because the rain kept the crowds away so the lines were not too bad. Plus, by the time it down poured we were already in the water park and wet already! I did not take my camera into the park so don't have any pictures from that day.

Sunday we visited a real nice congregation and met some nice folks there. Sunday afternoon was spent at the beach, a bit of fishing and a trip to a light house. It was WINDY on Sunday! The waves were awesome on the beach! Take a gander at the wind:
