On Saturday we traveled to the Multicultural Festival put on by Bethany Christian Services. We all had an awesome time! Lots of big kid and little kid games and fun.... a petting zoo.....live entertainment.....ethnic foods...vendors....you get the idea. I was also able to see and meet many adoptive families that I chat with online....pretty awesome! It was also pretty neat because the games were being manned by young people in bright green shirts. When we looked closer we noticed that the back of the shirts said "Savannah Church of Christ". They were from the church in Savannah Tenn. Tom talked a bit with the man in charge of the group. After the event on Saturday they were moving onto another city in Michigan to help the church there with vacation Bible school.....cool!!
Here are some pix from our day:
Gracie getting a flower painted on her hand

Gracie loved these angora bunnies.....they were SO cute and soft!!

Jacob made it to the top of the rock climbing wall. ;) He also immensely enjoyed the dunking tank ;)

Ready to climb!

Isaac encroaching on Gracie's climbing space...lol!

Baby Chick

Watching them sheer a sheep...not so sure about that?!

This goat definitely belongs in a petting zoo huh?! This picture is interesting too because it looks like they are standing in the middle of the pasture alone, which is so far from reality! LOL!!

When Neena saw this picture she said "I'm surprised that duck would allow Jacob to hold him" I told her that the duck was not happy about it and Jacob had to work hard to catch him! Only my boy would have a picture of himself holding a duck! LOL!! Poor duck! ;)

Time to head home! Tom is looking up at Gracie's balloon sailing away :(
